Expanding Options and Empowering Choice
Join WHO, HRP and IBP Network for the launch of new guidelines on expanding contraceptive options for women and girls. The guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations to support greater access to and choice of contraceptive methods, including opportunities to expand how and where existing methods are offered and used, alongside additional contraceptive options.
By enabling women and girls to choose from a wider range of methods that meet their individual needs, preferences and circumstances, the guidelines aim to strengthen informed choice, autonomy and empowerment and advance more person-centred contraceptive care.
