From adoption to compliance: Strengthening implementation of NCD prevention policies through lessons from smoke-free laws

Effective implementation and enforcement are critical to ensuring that noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention policies achieve their intended impact. Yet countries often face challenges in translating policies into effective action and sustained compliance.
